About this site

For several years, whenever I would hike or bike someplace, I'd bring a camera with me and photograph things along the way. Soon I had a large collection of images, some of which I stuck on Webshots, but no other way to share them. After I joined a hiking club, I realized that every week new people are moving to Portland and are eager to learn more about all the great outdoor and indoor activities we have here. It was time to put this domain name to good use.
