Powell Butte

Powell Butte -- a nature preserve in the southeast part of the city -- has so many bike paths, trails, fields and meadows you can hike, bike or ride horseback as much or as little as you like. There are woods and old orchards to explore, great spots to picnic, and fabulous views of Mt. Hood in the evening light. To find the entrance, follow Powell Blvd. east from I-205 to 162nd Avenue.
