Directions:
From McKenzie River Ranger Station, drive east on Highway 126 about
2 miles to Highway 242. Drive 16.7 miles up Highway 242 to the Obsidian
Trailhead.

Obsidian Trail (Three Sisters)
Head south and east from Portland and you'll find over 260 miles of trail
within the Three Sister Wilderness. These photos were taken on a backpack
along the Obsidian Trail (check
trail #3528) and some neighboring trails. It's a high desert paradise
with great lava formations.
